What Customers Say About Motorola H505 Bluetooth Headset (Black)[Bulk Packaging]:

Audio quality seems is quite clear as well. As other reviewers have noted, personal preference plays a big role in the evaluation of headsets.I've previously owned a Plantronics Voyager 520 headset. Compared to that headset, the mic quality seems to be much better - the people that I've called can not tell that I'm using a headset, even while talking with them while walking outside. And I personally like the fact that the ear piece doesn't stick into my ear - it seems more sanitary. The only thing I don't completely like is that the headset feels a little loose on my ear - it feels like it might fall off if I run with it on. However, that's a minor annoyance, since I normally don't run while talking on my cell phone.Overall, I would highly recommend this headset - good mic and clear audio at a very reasonable price.

The output sound is rather decent, sometimes it will come in with a bit of noise though. I like to use it, but the people I talk to on the phone don't. I find my self constantly having to take it out because the person on the other side is complaining I sound like I'm talking from the bottom of a giant tin can. It's good for when in walking around in the winter and I don't want to take my hands out of my pockets or when I'm driving in my car, but other then that, this thing is a bit more of a hassle then a luxury.

That's why I wasn't willing to pay much for another. This thing has received a lot of neg reviews. Twenty feet away from my phone and just the hint of static. In my experience bluetooth has been way over hyped. I would hear static if I went more than eight feet from the phone and the volume wasn't loud enough.

Looks refurbished3. The problem is persistent as it usually takes at least 2 attempts to sync back with the phone after turning on bluetooth.4. I paid almost $100 for the first headset. Maybe I'm just lucky. At least 2x better than the other headsets I've used.3.

However, it didn't fall off even when walking around.2. These headsets easily break, wear out (once the battery fails that's it), and are easy to lose. This has been the best headset I've purchased so far.Pros1. The instructions were just a really bad photocopy.

This is my fourth bluetooth headset. Holds a charge for a LONG timeCons1. It just hangs on your earlobe. Took at least six attempts to initially pair with my phone. The claims on distance from my phone are - for once. Once I used it it worked great. The two cheap replacement headsets were no better or worse.

Again, maybe I was just lucky. Loud (Not sure why others are experiencing the opposite)2. - true. Very little warning when battery starts to go deadWhen I first opened the bag (didn't come in retail package) I thought I'd been ripped off. I just know that this works better - with the exception of the hassle of repeated attempts to pair with phone - than the first $100 Plantronics headset I bought.

This thing is complete junk; I ordered it for my dad thinking it would be ok for him seeing he really only needed it while driving. Instead it will shut off while you are driving without much of any warning(Quick beep & lights flash for 3-5 seconds).Possibly bareable as a spare if you can't find a better one at Radio Shack for less. Also does not go into the ear at all.

However; It does work. Doesn't seem to adjust volume even though it has volume buttons on the sides. Big mistake.

Since it doesn't go in your ear it is very faint & he has trouble hearing people on it. It barely stays on your ear. Mostly feels like it's going to fall off.

To top things this clunky peice of junk has no low battery indicator. $20 gets you a NEW NOT refurbished Motorola Bluetooth headset with none of these problems & it comes in a RETAIL PACKAGE.Avoid at all costs.Sorry for the rage Motorola & Amazon.com & anyone who was offended by what I wrote.

Receiving calls is not bad, but using the commands is painful. For the price, you get what you pay for. When the electronic voice asks for me to say a command or beeps in my ear, it about makes my ear bleed.

Prompt replacement send by Amazon. Background noise makes this impossible to use for anyone with loud vehicle or in loud environments (it was NOT advertised as noise reduction, but we figured we'd give it a shot for car use).

First one ordered in 'bulk package' did not work and had to return for exchange. Doesn't feel very secure, but if you are just sitting in your car and not doing jumping jacks or anything, it works. One major drawback is that you can't adjust the volume for the sounds and commands for the bluetooth (not the volume for the incoming sounds from a person you are talking to, but from the bluetooth itself).

With car windows up and radio off, it's functional. Okay on fit.

You need to hold the bluetooth away from your ear, or manually dial a number on your phone (which kind of defeats the purpose of hands-free). Would recommend for someone like myself who has need for occassional bluetooth use, but for everyday or all day use, would definitely recommend going to a higher quality product.
